Phil i.p.

The Trance DJ Phil i.p. is interested in electronic music since 1993, triggered by reports of raves like Mayday and Universe - The Tribal Gathering and on recordings by the legendary HR3 Clubnight. Soon, he bought his first records, because he was fascinated by standing behind the turntables. Initially, his records were in the style of House and Breakbeat. But very quickly he was pleased with harder beats and changed to Techno. In parallel, his interest grew steadily for Trance. After about 2 years playing Techno, he then went back to Trance. He was inspired by DJs like Talla 2XLC and Dag - all are masters and pioneers of the Trance scene and understand it more than any other artist to celebrate the unique and epic Trance sound. Since these impressions and unforgettable club visits Phil i.p. plays Trance.

He had his first club gig at the age of 17 at Normal - in his hometown Heidelberg - having previously gained much experience on smaller parties in the Rhein-Neckar region. Mainly in the early years as a DJ, he hung up very often in the Heidelberg DAI where a lot of local DJs regularly came together.  In 1997 he got his first resident job at the former Little Heaven, where he played on fridays until its closing only half a year later. The next resident station was in 2000, when he was offered, along with other DJ's, to do the saturday night at the Blue Fish @ Schwimmbad Musik Club, also in Heidelberg. These two stations as a resident DJ gave him the ideal platform to present himself to the audience in his hometown. Even more, he got bookings in trendy clubs such as Prodo-X (Darmstadt), Paramount Park (Rödermark), Lemon (Rauenberg), etc. Especially his DJ sets at various radio stations such as Sunshine Live and Radio Unity brought his Trance style far beyond Heidelberg.

In 2003 he released his powerful Trance track "Infinity" originally on Digital Desire Records. This production was well accepted by many Trance DJs and was ranked in various dance charts. You can listen for free to his track "Infinity".

But his passion for House music has never expired. Starting as Phil Santora playing and producing House, he found the perfect way to unite different kind of House sounds - which becomes the leading part of Phil's electronical creativity.
